Kingston-Upon-Hull City Council is a local government organisation which administers services for the 257,000 residents of the city of Hull. It is a leading partner on the board organising Hull: UK City of Culture 2017.They will support the research of ESRs 3 and 15 through their human resource expertise, particularly through experienced equalities manager, trainer and researcher Gail Teasdale (MBA), ‘Integrated Services Manager’ for health, incorporating children and young people’s services. She has extensive experience of commissioning services, consultation, and research to address gender inequalities. Her work has been recognised as national best practice by the UK Government Department of Health and Department of Children, Schools, and Families. She has provided research placements as part of her work to MSc and PhD students and has previous collaborative experience with the University of Hull in both research projects and as a guest lecturer in Leadership and Management Training. She is an expert stakeholder for the European LLP EDGES project, and is a freelance trainer, delivering training in equalities issues to NGOs.
